Our core values include:
We believe that true mind-body harmony can be found in honoring the knowledge of our ancestors in collaboration with the latest scientific findings.
I came to therapy by way of a writing classroom and a yoga mat. For years I taught English and writing at the university level, and for more than fifteen years I've taught yoga. Both practices are, at their core, about the same thing: paying close attention — to language, to the body, to the places where the two meet and where they diverge. That's the orientation I bring to clinical work.
In recent years, EMDR — Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing — has become the center of my practice, and for good reason. Of all the modalities I've trained in and used, EMDR consistently produces the deepest and most lasting change. It works at the level where trauma actually lives: not in the story we tell about what happened, but in the nervous system, in the body, in the places that talk therapy alone doesn't always reach. I'm currently on the path toward EMDR consultation, which reflects not a career pivot but a deepening commitment to work I find genuinely transformative.
I also draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic IFS, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, visualization, meditation, and somatic approaches — integrated in service of the individual, not applied by formula.
I've been a therapist for more than six years, working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, PTSD and CPTSD, insomnia, addiction, and the quieter but equally serious struggles — self-esteem, boundaries, life balance, the feeling of being stuck somewhere between where you are and where you thought you'd be. I take all of it seriously. Especially the hard-to-name stuff.
What I can promise is a space that's genuinely non-judgmental, a relationship built on trust and collaboration, and a commitment to figuring out together what actually helps. Therapy isn't something I do to clients. It's something we do together.
If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
